Customers Turning to Mortgage Intermediaries for Advice
According to the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries, over the last few months increasing numbers of home owners and those with property portfolios are turning to mortgage intermediaries, like specialist mortgage broker TMP Mortgage Zone, for advice.
Chris Cummings, director general of AMI said: "In the first quarter of this year, consumers have increasingly turned to our members to seek out professional mortgage advice. For example, over 80% of first time buyers used an intermediary - a 10% increase on the previous year. The remortgage markets also saw intermediary business up by 10%."
This demonstrates the value consumers are placing on getting advice from unbiased professionals who put the interests of their customers first.
