RICS: House Prices to Stabilise
Hopes that the house price slump was bottoming out were reported today by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
The RICS house market survey for March showed that potential buyer interest continued to grow and is beginning to translate into sales. However, the report did caution that house sales transactions remain at historically low levels.
Tony Rice, of Bedfordshire-based specialist mortgage brokers TMP Mortgage Zone. said: "Interest may be increasing in the housing market with buyers beginning to return but many are still being frustrated by the lack of mortgage finance. That\'s why it really pays to talk to a whole of market broker who can help you find the right mortgage deal from all the main high street and specialist lenders."
